Hi Ian, A very belated thank-you for getting me into RTE – you were on the interview panel when I applied for the Radio Producer job back in the ’80s and it was so reassuring to see a proper muso on the other side of the desk! It was always brilliant to find your name on a planned programme because that meant it would be superbly done with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of quality.
