One of the greats

R.I.P. Ian
You will be missed but never forgotten and for all the right reasons. Your compassion for your fellow man, your justness, kindness and your professionalism dealing with every facet of life. Now that’s a very hard act to follow. One of the greats if not the greatest talent of the TV world.

A kind man

Ian was a lovely man, and it was a pleasure sharing company with him when we were in Chatel or seeing how patient he was as an instructor when our paths crossed on the slopes. You and Ian together contributed so much to making our family visits to Chatel very special.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and everyone.
Love, Paul, Joanna and Eilidh

A wonderful trainer

Ian trained me to be a ski instructor. He was so technically detailed in his teaching, and so accomplished, that it should have been intimidating. But instead he was so calm, and quiet-spoken, and approachable. Despite his huge achievements, I never once heard him brag.
A lovely man, and a huge loss.
My condolences to Jane, Tamsen, Kirsty and the rest of the family.
